Barcelona Lionel Messi has had yellow card received on
Sunday’s 1-0 win against Valencia canceled. The 27-year-old was marked for “deliberate
time-wasting” after he was struck on the head by plastic bottle thrown from a
spectator in the crowd as his team celebrated Busquet Sergio’s goal. Barca’s appeal was approved after a second
appeal following an earlier rejection by the Spanish football federation (RFEF)
competition committee.
Reports claim that Manchester City are plotting to make a move for talented French youngster forward Kylian Mbappe for £200 million. But City boss Pep Guardiola has come out to say in a news conference ahead of City's UCL clash with German club Hoffenheim that the move cannot happen. Here is what he said in the conference: "That is not going to happen," "Sometimes I don't understand where that news comes from."
