Yellow card on Lionel Messi canceled

Barcelona Lionel Messi has had yellow card received on Sunday’s 1-0 win against Valencia canceled. The 27-year-old was marked for “deliberate time-wasting” after he was struck on the head by plastic bottle thrown from a spectator in the crowd as his team celebrated Busquet Sergio’s goal.  Barca’s appeal was approved after a second appeal following an earlier rejection by the Spanish football federation (RFEF) competition committee.
