Manchester United striker
Radamel Falcao is only fit to play for 20 minutes, declares boss Louis Van
Gaal. The Colombian who'd just returned to the squad after a calf injury is pressed to play for his team owing to more injuries in the squad. Van Gaal
expressed his disinterest in the striker's satisfaction with the substitute
role, claiming he only needs match fitness. Gaal however confirmed that captain
Wayne Rooney, who was sidelined in the 2-1 win against Stoke on Tuesday, would
feature in Monday's night match against Southampton, while Falcao takes the
bench. 28-year-old Falcao who missed most of last season's match due to injury
has scored only one goal in seven appearances for Manchester United.
Reports claim that Manchester City are plotting to make a move for talented French youngster forward Kylian Mbappe for £200 million. But City boss Pep Guardiola has come out to say in a news conference ahead of City's UCL clash with German club Hoffenheim that the move cannot happen. Here is what he said in the conference: "That is not going to happen," "Sometimes I don't understand where that news comes from."
