The Italian submitted a letter of mitigation without requesting hearing. Earlier, Balotelli had denied in a tweet that the post was offensive but afterward had apologised. Mario Balotelli has scored no Premier league goal for Liverpool since his £16m transfer from AC Milan in the summer.
