Two weeks after
hospitalisation, Pele will be discharged from an hospital in Sao Paulo on
Tuesday following doctors' report that the soccer great is now in good
condition. Pele, 74, who was admitted into Albert Einstein hospital on November
24 on account of urinary tract infection, had earlier been admitted on November
13 to have kidney stone surgery done on him. The national hero, who was
relegated to the intensive care unit of the hospital, was transferred to
private room on Saturday. In a video message that showed him playing a guitar,
Pele thanked his fans for their support. The three-time World Cup champion and
worldwide soccer ambassador, who had a kidney removed as a player, is seen by
many as the greatest player ever.
Reports claim that Manchester City are plotting to make a move for talented French youngster forward Kylian Mbappe for £200 million. But City boss Pep Guardiola has come out to say in a news conference ahead of City's UCL clash with German club Hoffenheim that the move cannot happen. Here is what he said in the conference: "That is not going to happen," "Sometimes I don't understand where that news comes from."
