Leicester City boss Nigel
Pearson has received deadline of December 16 to respond to a charge by the FA
following an abusive remark made to a fan. Chairman of Leicester supporters
group tagged the coach as arrogant, stating he refused to apologise for the
insulting comment. Pearson's spat came after his side's 3-1 loss to Liverpool.
Leicester, who play host to Manchester City in the Premier league on Saturday,
last won in September and now maintain the bottom of the table. Pressed by
fans' group to apologise, Pearson, 51, commented "there certainly won't be
any apology".
Reports claim that Manchester City are plotting to make a move for talented French youngster forward Kylian Mbappe for £200 million. But City boss Pep Guardiola has come out to say in a news conference ahead of City's UCL clash with German club Hoffenheim that the move cannot happen. Here is what he said in the conference: "That is not going to happen," "Sometimes I don't understand where that news comes from."
