Former Arsenal striker
Thierry Henry leaves Major League Soccer club, New York Red Bulls, after four
and half years. The 37-year-old closed his contract after a 2-2 draw on
Saturday. In a statement, the Frenchman said, "The decision has always
been that I would leave after the duration of my contract. I'll take the next
few weeks to decide on the next chapter of my career." He had hinted in an
earlier interview with French Newspaper that he would stay in football, perhaps
as a coach, consultant or executive; and he would like to see Arsenal win the
Champions League. Henry won two Premier League titles and three FA Cups with
Arsenal.
