Manchester City defeats Roma

Manchester City forges through to Champion league knockout stage with a 2-0 flogging of Roma on Wednesday. The first-time victory in Italy put them alongside Group E Bayern Munich. Munich inflicted a 3-0 pain on CSKA Moscow to pull City through to qualification. City's Nasir Samri scratched depression in Roma with a 60-minute goal.
