Sergio Aguero will be
sidelined in Manchester City's Wednesday match against Roma, after bagging a
knee injury in Saturday's game. The 26-year-old left the game against Everton
in tears just 3 minutes after match start, following a brush with Muhamed
Besic. Aguero's absence may pose a blow to City's reaching the last 16 as the
team cannot afford to lose Wednesday's match. The Argentine, who is Premier
League's top goal scorer with 14 goals, limped off the pitch on Saturday and
was replaced by Jose Prozo. Aguero, who has been hailed by Pellegrini as
"one of the best players in the world", has 21 goals in 19
competitions in all appearances for Manchester City this season.
Reports claim that Manchester City are plotting to make a move for talented French youngster forward Kylian Mbappe for £200 million. But City boss Pep Guardiola has come out to say in a news conference ahead of City's UCL clash with German club Hoffenheim that the move cannot happen. Here is what he said in the conference: "That is not going to happen," "Sometimes I don't understand where that news comes from."
