Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are two of the best in history, says Raul Gonzalez

Former Real Madrid Forward Raul Gonzalez has acknowledged that Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona's Lionel Messi deserve a spot in football's Hall Of Fame.

Raul said in La Gazetta dello Sport: "They are two of the best players in the history of football, like Pele and Maradona.

The top scorers in Champions League include Messi (Barcelona) -74 goals; Cristiano Ronaldo (Man Utd, Real Madrid) -72 goals; Raul (Real Madrid, Shalke 04) -71 goals; van Nistelrooy (PSV, Man Utd, Real Madrid) -56 goals; Thierry Henry (AS Monaco, Arsenal, Barcelona) -50 goals.
