Former England captain Terry
Butcher says Wayne Rooney can clinch more than 60 goals for his country. He
stated that the captaincy position of the United striker has been worthwhile.
Speaking with BBC Radio, 55-year-old Butcher said, "I see him as one of
the greats. Sixty goals would be magnificent but I think he could probably go
beyond that." Rooney, who reached his 46th goal in the 3-1 win against
Scotland on Tuesday, became captain of his club and country team in August. 77
cap winner Butcher said he's observed a difference in Rooney's play since
England boss Roy Hodgson made him captain.
