David Whelan Threatens Resignation in 'Racist' Allegation




David Whelan threatens to resign if punished by FA on ground of Cardiff City Vincent Tan's accusation of racism. FA has made investigation into Whelan's derogatory comment about the Jewish and Chinese people as a priority. Whelan denied this allegation, stating he'd resign should FA tag him guilty. In an ITV news interview, David said, "I do not expect to be found guilty because I'm absolutely anti-racist, always have been, always will be". The 77-year old is expected to respond latest Wednesday to the FA statement issued on Friday.
