FIFA President rejects Dyke's request to publish corruption report




Sepp Blatter turned down FA chairman Greg Dyke's request to publish report on FIFA World Cup corruption. Ethics investigator Michael Garcia's 430-page report looks into the hosting bid for world cup 2018 and 2022 won by Russia and Qatar. FIFA ethics judge Hans-Joachim Eckert ruled in favour of the hosts. While Dyke admitted the insult this issue is bringing upon FIFA's reputation, Blatter enjoined Greg to consider the matter from FIFA's perspective also. Sepp has filed a criminal complaint for undisclosed names related to the report.

According to ESPN, these are among around a dozen people being questioned by police over commission and alleged illicit payments made on transfers involving the Ligue 1 outfit.
