Cristiano Ronaldo deserves the Ballon d'Or -Ronaldo de Lima

Last season depicted the excellence and the dominance of the name Cristiano Ronaldo in the world of Football. With Ronaldo picking awards for best player, best forward, and best goal, he has proved without a doubt that he deserves to be crowned with the Ballon d'Or award.

Brazilian Legend Ronaldo de Lima has seconded to this. According to ESPN, the 1997 and 2002 winner of the Ballon d'Or told Sky Italia: "I believe [Cristiano] will win it again this year,". He went on to say: "He is scoring lots of goals, plus he is helping with Real Madrid's general play. Messi is also playing well, but Cristiano's year is memorable. Messi's year is not turning out so memorable for him." Messi had a fairly good season but not as he would have expected. But does that cancel the chances of Lionel Messi winning the Ballon d'Or, even when statistics and public support is tending towards Ronaldo.
