Aston Villa 1-1 Southampton

source: theguardian.com

Aston Villa's expected victory at Villa Park fell out with Southampton Nathaniel Clyne's late goal bringing the game to a disappointing 1-1 draw. A good use of Ryan Betrand's cross gave Clyne the chance to save his side from going down with a loss. Villa has conceded three straight home defeats without a single win since beating Liverpool on September 13. Only Villa's Gabriel Agbonlahor and Andreas Weimann have scored goals for their side in this season's Premier League. Nathaniel Clyne has 2 goals in 12 league appearances this season.
