Ahead of Copa America showdown - Luis Suarez out of the game





The Copa America game which begins Thursday 11 June, 2015 in Santiago, will have Brazil face Colombia in the Group C stage. Tagged along in the same group are Peru and Venezuela. Hosts Chile, Meico, Ecuador, and Bolivia maintain Group A. While Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Jamaica make up Group B.  Barca's Luis Suarez will miss the games following suspension for biting Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini in a World Cup match.

Labrune, Diouf, others arrested over Marseille sales of Didier Drogba, Samir Nasri

Furore over the Marseille sales of Didier Drogba and Samir Nasri into Chelsea and Arsenal respectively escalated to more arrests on Tuesday. The people arrested are: Current OM president Vincent Labrune, and his two predecessors, Jean-Claude Dassier and Pape Diouf. According to ESPN, these are among around a dozen people being questioned by police over commission and alleged illicit payments made on transfers involving the Ligue 1 outfit.
