Cesare Prandelli relieved as Galatasaray coach

According to Turkish news agency Dogan, Cesare Prandelli has been sacked as Galatasaray coach barely six months after taking the helm. Coach Claudio Taffarel would replace him temporarily. Two Galatasaray defeats, to Anderlecht and Trabzonspor, nailed Prandelli's relieve for good. Galatasaray will not feature in the games at Europe after 3-0 home defeat to Trabzonspor on Saturday and Wednesday's 2-0 loss to Anderlecht. The club has four defeats in five Champions League games, and Galasaray management's patience, tried, pushed out Prandelli.
