Liverpool: Liverpool to begin contract talks with Gerard


Liverpool has begun contract talks with Steven Gerard. Gerard's deal expires at the end of this season and he will be free to sign a pre-contract agreement with another club if an extension is not agreed upon.

The current Liverpool midfielder indicated that if he isn't offered a renewal contract, he would leave Liverpool despite his long stay and dedication to the club.
