Messi 253 Goal Record Will Remain Unbeaten

Barca's 5-1 win over Sevilla has crowned Messi with an 'unreachable' 253 goals; setting an 'amazing' record in La Liga since former Athletic Bilbao forward Telmo Zarra's 251 goals in 1955. Barcelona Coach Luis Enrique says the 27-year-old's goal record will remain unbeaten. Cristiano Ronaldo trails behind with 197 goal record. In a BBC report, Enrique said, "He's a unique player - there'll never be anyone like him and we're lucky to enjoy his presence here. I think he will leave the record unreachable for anyone else. Zarra beat it in an age when there were more forwards than defenders."
