Messi and Cristiano: Ballon d'Or battle ends bad

Messi and Cristiano's final battle for this year's Ballon d'Or falls flat in either's favour. Fans were disappointed to watch their big-time players exit the field barely 45 minutes into the match. In an interview by BBC, two fans shared their irritation. "It was bitterly disappointing that they both went off so early because seeing them was the sole reason I came to the game in the first place," said Caspar Carter, who had travelled from Leeds.

"We missed kick-off because we queued outside for an hour and paid £66 for our tickets, which is a lot to pay for 45 minutes of not very much," added his friend, James Morpeth.

The match climaxed with a 1-0 win in Portugal's favour.

Headmaster Pep Guardiola injects new rules into City camp; bans mobile phones

Every violation comes with a corresponding fine, ask Benjamin Mendy. Pep plans to repeat his outstanding triumph like he did last season.
