Ballon d'Or Should Go To A German – Louis Van Gaal





Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal declares that a German should win this year's Ballon d'Or, and not Ronaldo or Messi. The duo has shared five of these titles between themselves, with Ronaldo getting his first by 2013. The winner of Brazil World Cup this summer. The German players whose names appear on the FIFA 23-man shortlist are: Toni Kroos, Philipp Lahm, Thomas Muller, Manuel Neuer, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Mario Gotze. Gaal insists the title should belong to one of these.

According to ESPN, these are among around a dozen people being questioned by police over commission and alleged illicit payments made on transfers involving the Ligue 1 outfit.
