European Countries Urged To Boycott World Cup

Former Football Association chairman David Berstein voiced everyone's thought when he called for World cup boycott by European countries over FIFA World Cup corruption. The 2018 host, Russia, are unlikely to join the boycott. While Spain and Portugal stand indifferent to the plan. David castigated FIFA's attempt to choose Qatar as 2022 World Cup host, claiming it's the most absurd decision in sport history. He tagged FIFA a totalitarian set-up, perfect replica of the old Soviet Empire. FIFA sponsorship dwindled with Dubai-based airline Emirates coming off the list and Samsung expected to follow suit. This billion of pounds loss is a greater blow compared to David Berstein's castigation of FIFA.
