Woodburn must have known that playing for Liverpool meant that he was destined for greatness. But he wouldn't have though it would come this early in his life.
Woodburn made history yesterday as the youngest-ever player to score for Liverpool at 17 years and 45 days old. It was a phenomenal day in his entire career and life.
Everyone watched as a cross was made to Origi and then a pass to Wijnaldum. And there was Woodburn waiting to make history. When he was given the ball, he showed no hesitation as he must have dreamed of this moment. A right footed volley and Woodburn was in the Liverpool History Books.
