RACE TO WEEKEND GAMES: GRIEZMANN SET FOR MADRID CLASH

credit: goal.com

Diego Simeone must be very glad at the fitness update on Antoine Griezmann. After two weeks of break for the International games, Griezmann supposedly picked up a foot injury against Sweden which France successfully won 2-1 at Stade de France.

But some hours ago, according to goal.com, Griezmann took part in a full training session on Thursday and the X-ray results show that the Frenchman did not suffer a broken bone on his left foot.

This news will certainly be a boost for Diego Simeone as Griezmann is a very important player in Atletico and would not want to be left out... especially against a monstrous side like Real Madrid.
