MANCHESTER UNITED RISK FACING ADIDAS PENALTY IF THEY DON'T FINISH TOP FOUR

If Manchester United don't make it to the top four by the end of the season, they will trigger a financial penalty in their £750 million deal with Adidas.

Sources have said that with Jose struggling to get Manchester United into the top four like Van Gaal struggled, 30% of the £75 million annual deal may be cut if Jose can't finish in the top four.

But sources have also said that if that rather than they take a £22.5 million deduction cut at once, it would be spread along the 10 year timeline of the contract.
