WEEKEND HEROES: CARLOS VELA PROVES A BETTER LEFT-FOOTED MERCHANT THAN MESSI




Messi must have been shocked to see another outstanding left-footed player during the weekend games. Barcelona went to Sociedad for the Matchday 13 games. Surely, Barcelona thought they would win and Messi must have expected this to be another game that would add to his super ratings.

But to the contrary, Messi met another astonishly left-footer in the home side by the name of Carlos Vela. He spearheaded the attacking midfield of the home team and there was never a dull moment once he had the ball. He was totally magnificent.

As Messi struggled to get a hold of the ball, Vela was busy dazzling with it. With several shots on goal and two shots that hit the woodwork, Vela clearly outshines Messi.

Unfortunately he didn't score, but his left-foot presence was felt and it dominated Messi's.
