MESSI IS FOR BARCELONA, AND BARCELONA IS FOR MESSI, POETIC MOURINHO SCHMOOZES

According to Dailymail, Mourinho was quizzed and asked if he wanted Lionel Messi. And he said, although he admires the 29-year old, he thinks he should remain a one-club man. Mourinho said he thinks Messi is for Barcelona and Barcelona is for Messi and he would really love Messi to stay in Barcelona till the end of his football career.

Reports say Manchester City is really keen on buying the 5-time Ballon d'Or winner. And should he decide to leave, a £500,000 per week deal awaits him at the Etihad if he is willing.

But it really sounds weird for Mourinho to speak in this manner. If you want to see it from a different angle, Mourinho may want Messi to stay at Barcelona as he wishes to coach Barcelona someday.

It has been confirmed that Lionel Messi will be missing game against Malaga due to illness.

Chelsea won't sign new players - Jose Mourinho

Chelsea will make no signings in the January transfer window, says manager Jose Mourinho. The team has enough capable and balanced players to even out in the coming competitions. The Blues have six matches before January 1, with the first starting today against Hull City. Mourinho plans to rest his senior players for this Yuletide season, saying he is doubtful any one player should appear in all the six matches. The manager has granted his European-based players a two-day 'holiday' to rest and 'have a nice dinner with their families'. The former Real Madrid manager's side meets Hull City in the Premier league today. Petr Cech will replace injured skipper goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois in the Hull City face-off. Cesc Fabregas is ruled out for suspension and midfielder Nemanja Matic joins the squad after ban.
