JURGEN KLINSMANN SACKED FROM US NATIONAL TEAM

Jurgen Klinsmann has been sacked from the US national team following two straight losses in the final round of the Russia World Cup qualifying stages.

He has been coach since 2011 and his contract was to expire in 2018. But he has now sacked and his contract terminated.

LA Galaxy coach Bruce Arena is expected to replace Klinsmann.

Furore over the Marseille sales of Didier Drogba and Samir Nasri into Chelsea and Arsenal respectively escalated to more arrests on Tuesday.
