WEEKEND HEROES: CRISTIANO RONALDO IS BACK; MAKES ALL THE HEADLINES AGAINST ATLETICO MADRID

Though he might have started slow, Ronaldo is simply getting better and better after each game. Against Atletico Madrid yesterday, Ronaldo scored a Hatrick making it his 39th hatrick of his football career.

This is Ronaldo's first hatrick of the season. Unlike his normal self, he has been finding it difficult to score goals this season and rumours have been going around that the ever-glowing and energetic Ronaldo may have reached his peak. But after yesterday's game, Ronaldo has proved his naysayers and critics wrong. Not only by putting one or two goals at the back of the net, but by scoring a hatrick and ensuring Real Madrid go back to the Bernabeu with 3 points.

He scored first in the 22nd minute with a deflection from the Atletico wall in a free kick set piece. Of course, he claimed the goal. He was tripped in the penalty area and scored the penalty in the 70th minute. And finally with a brilliant pass from Gareth Bale, he put in the third goal in the 76th minute.
