The Football Media has been buzzing with the announcement of the retirement of Steven Gerrard from professional football. Steven Gerrard's football career was marked with a lot of awards and is one to be envied.

Argentine Footballer dies after attack

33-year-old Argentine footballer, Franco Neito, fell dead after taking a stone hit to his head following an attack from three hooligans. The Tiro Federal club captain was nailed down after the match against Chacarita Juniors in Aimogasta, north-west Argentina. The victim was operated  on on Tuesday but died on Wednesday. Report confirms Argentina has recorded 15 deaths in football-related violence this year.  The country continues to sit in the mud following football-related violence activities often perpetrated by so-called Barras Bravas gangs - radical supporters who have caused over 256 deaths in Argentine football up to August 2012.    

Blatter loses Appeal
