"HAZARD AND SUAREZ COULD HAVE COME TO TOTTENHAM", HARRY REDKNAPP SAYS

Harry Redknapp has said that Tottenham Hotspur almost completed the signing of Chelsea's Edin Hazard and Barcelona's Luis Suarez.

Redknapp in 2009-10 guided Tottenham to their most successful Premier League finish. In that same year, he won the Premier League Manager of the Year award.

According to Mirror UK, he said he remembered sitting with Hazard in an hotel room for three hours and Hazard was enthusiastic about moving to The White Hart Lane. He also said that if Tottenham had chosen to invest, they would have targeted Luis Suarez who was the hottest striker in Liverpool at the time.

He said, "If we got one of those in, we had a team that could have challenged the title."

Every violation comes with a corresponding fine, ask Benjamin Mendy. Pep plans to repeat his outstanding triumph like he did last season.
