ANTONIO NAMED OCTOBER'S BARCLAYS MANAGER OF THE MONTH

Well, he definitely deserves it. Seeing that Chelsea picked up the maximum number of points last month without conceding a goal. And not to add the current tremendous form of the Blues.

Barclays awarded Antonio Conte with the October's Barclays Manager of the Month award.

After a couple of disappointing results, Conte can take the credit for a much improved Chelsea after changing formation from the four-man defence strategy to 3-4-3 formation.

Conte was voted Serie A's Coach of the Year three consecutive times during his time at Juventus. This will be his first in England and he is ready to win more. He dedicated the award to his team.

Bruce argued his man only showed "petulance" when he was provoked by Jan. And such behaviour could not be regarded as "violent". The City went down when Tottenham's Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen found the net in the game's second half. Speaking with his news conference, Bruce said, "Ramirez has shown petulance. Vertonghen has had a little go at him, and Ramirez has flicked out. The law says it is a violent conduct. For me, it is an act of petulance -- it is not violent conduct." Via espn
