WEEKEND MATCH UPDATE: SUPERSUB GIROUD ROBSgo MANCHESTER

credit: goal.com
Olivier Giroud's late minute header levelled the game after Juan Mata opened the scoring.

The Red Devils started the second half brilliantly. Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial looked really good and Arsenal defenders were clearly uncomfortable with their pace. Meanwhile, Alexis Sanchez adn Mesut Ozil saw very little of the ball and seemed a bit off.

Martial was replacd after the hour mark for Wayne Rooney. The Gunners found it difficult to move forward and considering their firepower, it was surprising.

Arsene Wenger's nightmare became real when Juan Mata scored the opener. Pogba started the move with a fine pass to Ander Herrera and his perfect assist found Mata in the middle of the box. A first-time finish from the Spaniard was required. As expected, Wenger brought in Giroud and Granit Xhaka after the goal. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was also introduced later.

Things turned around in the penultimate minute when Chamberlain delivered an inch-perfect cross to Giroud. De Gea couldn't do anything about the Frenchman's bullet header.

Mourinho might not be happy with the result but he successfully maintained his unbeaten record against Wenger.
