Southgate Regime as England Coach begins; receives 4-year Contract

Gareth Southgate as most predicted has been appointed as the manager of England.

It has been quite clear and obvious that the England team has exhibited some precision, passion, and stability under the hands of Gareth Southgate. England players have always expressed that they are very comfortable with Southgate.

According to the Telegraph UK, he said, "The hard work starts now."

His contract is for four years and it is worth £1.8 million a year.



The Football Association has appointed Southgate on a four-year contract worth £1.8 million a year after the 46-year-old negotiated himself a £300,000 increase on the original £1.5 million-a-year offer.
