West Ham vs Crystal Palace - Premier League preview and team news

Sam Allardyce’s men could not have done much more to earn what would have been a thoroughly deserved third consecutive victory at White Hart Lane, but a last-gasp equaliser from Harry Kane means that they have still only won once in the Premier League since December 20.

But there were many positives to draw from what was a strong and disciplined away performance. Restored to a more natural midfield role, Cheikhou Kouyate had a superbly effective game in midfield, while Aaron Cresswell was the supplier of some fine crosses from the left.

Crystal Palace did the double over the Hammers last season, and Alan Pardew will look to take advantage of any hangover the hosts may have from losing two points at Spurs so late on. The Eagles nearly grabbed one in the closing stages last time out against Arsenal, but a late onslaught did not produce a leveller.

But those final few minutes, in which Glenn Murray scored his first Premier League goal of the season and then hit the woodwork, saw another wonderful display from wide-man Yannick Bolasie, whose pace on the flanks will surely see a fascinating battle here with Cresswell and Carl Jenkinson.

Carlton Cole will miss out for West Ham after picking up a hamstring injury, with Morgan Amalfitano and Andy Carroll still unavailable.

The visitors will be without Marouane Chamakh and Yaya Sanogo for two weeks, while Fraizer Campbell has picked up an injury that will keep him on the sidelines until April.
