Report says Premier League clubs spend over £950M in 2014-15 season

According to a new report by Deloitte, premier league clubs have spent over 950 million pounds in 2014-15 summer and winter transfer windows.

Heavy spenders such as Manchester City (Bony), Chelsea (Cuadrado), and Arsenal (Gabriel) grossed 50% of the total Premier League spend. This report also recorded a far higher spend than the £225M which was recorded in 2011 after Torres moved from Liverpool to Chelsea for £50M.
The 2014-15 season has by far proven to be a record year for Premier League transfers and may increase in subsequent years.
