RVP leaves the Liberty Stadium on crutches and with right leg in protective boot

Manchester United striker Robin van Persie left the Liberty Stadium on crutches and with his right leg in a protective boot to pile more misery on Louis van Gaal.
 
The Dutchman, who started the match alongside Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney, hobbled out of Swansea's stadium after appearing to injure his right leg. 

Van Persie and his team-mates were unable to stop Swansea from sealing a Premier League double over Manchester United as Ki Sung-yueng and Bafetimbi Gomis struck to hand the home side all three points.

Argentine Footballer dies after attack

33-year-old Argentine footballer, Franco Neito, fell dead after taking a stone hit to his head following an attack from three hooligans. The Tiro Federal club captain was nailed down after the match against Chacarita Juniors in Aimogasta, north-west Argentina. The victim was operated  on on Tuesday but died on Wednesday. Report confirms Argentina has recorded 15 deaths in football-related violence this year.  The country continues to sit in the mud following football-related violence activities often perpetrated by so-called Barras Bravas gangs - radical supporters who have caused over 256 deaths in Argentine football up to August 2012.
