Issues arise as Ronaldo's form stays on the low

I guess this is the price paid for being the best -you are not expected to ever fall short of a certain expectation. Cristiano Ronaldo is currently facing a crisis situation where he seems to be falling short of every expectation. The Portuguese International has only scored four times in ten appearances since the start of the December's Club World Cup.

Fabio Capello had a few things to say concerning the crisis of the World's best footballer...

According to ESPN, Capello has said that Ronaldo's current fitness status should be investigated. He made it known that the Portuguese's form plays a very important role in the Real Madrid team and that his form is a major determinant in the outcomes of their games. He advised that the medical staff should ensure that there were no serious fitness issues involved.

While Ronaldo tries to blame his form on his recurrent knee injury, his current boss Carlo Ancelotti tries to describe Cristiano's current predicament as a kind of "goal-block" and tries to explain that all the World's best player needs is one goal and the other goals will start flowing in again.

In the absence of any professional diagnosis, some have taking the liberty to explain Ronaldo's dropped form as one of an emotional cause saying it is caused as a result of his recent break up with his long time girl-friend Irina Shayk.

I still think Ronaldo's the best and needs to be supported rather than beat down because of his dropped performance....
