REAL MADRID MIDFIELDER KROOS: WHY I SNUBBED RONALDO PARTY

Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos can understand the criticism of Cristiano Ronaldo's 30th birthday party.

Ronaldo was hammered for holding the party just hours after their thrashing by Atletico Madrid.
"I was invited to Cristiano Ronaldo's party," said Kroos.
"I didn't go because I knew what could happen. It wasn't the moment to have a party after losing 4-0 against Atlético. It's also true that many people had been invited and cancelling it wouldn't have been easy."
