WIGAN SET TO LAND LIVERPOOL ATTACKER JEROME SINCLAIR

Wigan Athletic are closing on a deal for Liverpool attacker Jerome Sinclair.


 The Daily Mail says Sinclair is set to join Wigan on loan until the end of the season.

 Latics boss Malky Mackay is an admirer of the 18-year-old forward and has contacted the Merseysiders about a temporary deal.

 Wigan hope to have the deal over the weekend.

Furore over the Marseille sales of Didier Drogba and Samir Nasri into Chelsea and Arsenal respectively escalated to more arrests on Tuesday.
