TOTTENHAM’S KANE IS ‘ON FIRE’ AND COULD CLINCH PLAYER OF THE SEASON – REDKNAPP

Tottenham striker Harry Kane is closing in on the Premier League Player of the Season award according to Jamie Redknapp.

The 21-year old Spurs ace celebrated his England call-up with a hat-trick in Saturday’s 4-3 win over Leicester City to take his season tally to 19 league goals, further suggesting that he is well in the race for the Premier League’s top individual award.
Former Liverpool midfielder Redknapp wrote the following in his column for the Daily Mail: ‘What a week for Harry Kane.
‘He gets called up for England duty and responds with a first Premier League hat-trick. The boy is on fire.
‘Last month I picked him out as my player of the season. A few people might have laughed at me for that, but I’m sure they’re not laughing any more.
‘Only one player could take it off Kane now, and that’s Eden Hazard, but with three more goals, Harry’s done nothing to make me change my mind.’
