Barcelona took a massive step towards the La Liga title with a 2-1 victory over Real Madrid in the Clasico, and their players took to social media to celebrate.

Brazilian striker Neymar was quick to upload photos to Instagram after his team's narrow victory on Sunday night at the Nou Camp.

Neymar shared an image of himself with Lionel Messi and four other Brazilians Rafinha, Douglas, Dani Alves and Adriano in the dressing room after the match.

Argentine Footballer dies after attack

33-year-old Argentine footballer, Franco Neito, fell dead after taking a stone hit to his head following an attack from three hooligans. The Tiro Federal club captain was nailed down after the match against Chacarita Juniors in Aimogasta, north-west Argentina. The victim was operated on on Tuesday but died on Wednesday. Report confirms Argentina has recorded 15 deaths in football-related violence this year. The country continues to sit in the mud following football-related violence activities often perpetrated by so-called Barras Bravas gangs - radical supporters who have caused over 256 deaths in Argentine football up to August 2012.
