Balotelli has previously played under the likes of Jose Mourinho, at Inter, and Roberto Mancini, at Manchester City, but Raiola believes the work done under Rodgers is going to prove beneficial in the long run.
“He has found a coach who asks of him things that had never been requested of him until now, including the discipline of running without the ball,” Raiola said. “This allows him to grow as a person and as a football player. He'll come out even stronger. He is proud of his team (Liverpool) and that is the most important.”
Balotelli moved to Liverpool from Milan in the summer of 2014 and has to date made 23 appearances for the Reds, scoring four goals, although he has not found the back of the net more than once in any individual competition, and has only once been named by Rodgers in the starting XI since November.
