Manchester United ‘want to seal £165m double transfer deal for Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale’

Manchester United are interested in a £165million double transfer deal for Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale.

United are gearing up for another huge summer spending spree, with Louis van Gaal looking to add top quality additions.

Both Ronaldo and Bale have been linked with moves recently, and now Sky Sports’ Spanish football insider Graham Hunter has revealed United are chasing a double deal for the pair.

‘United think they have an opportunity to buy Ronaldo,’ he said.

‘My opinion is we have to wait and see because I think he Ronaldo will be tempted to join.

‘He will be asked by both Manchester clubs. That goes for Bale too.’

The Daily Express says both players would cost a total figure of £165million – a fee United could easily afford.
