Manchester United striker Lukaku scan shows no ankle injury

While on international duty on Monday, Lukaku was scanned and there was no detection of any ankle fractures. During training at Man U last week Friday, Lukaku picked up a ankle problem but was checked on Saturday after receiving pain-killing injections and he was declared fit for Crystal Palace's match on Saturday.

But on Monday afternoon, he missed training again with the Belgian team and has had to go for another check-up. Since the scan shows no ankle fracture, he would be staying with the Belgium squad ahead of the qualifiers on Saturday against Bosnia and Herzegovina and on Tuesday against Cyprus.
