Lionel Messi beats Cristiano Ronaldo to ESPN's top 50 most influential people in Football




With the help of experts, ESPN put together football figures with the most money, authority, and power to create a list of 50 most influential people in Football.

Coming up at 7th in the list is Lionel Messi. Cristiano Ronaldo made it to the 10th position with Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola and famous agent Mino Raiola coming in between them at 9th and 8th respectively.

At 3rd position is Aleksander Ceferin, the President of UEFA. He was the President of the Football Association of Slovenia between 2011 and 2016. At 2nd position is German and World Football Legend Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. And of course for obvious reasons, the most influential football figure is the President of World Football body FIFA, Gianni Infantino.
