Former Referees urge FA to sanction Arsene Wenger with long ban


Former referees Keith Hackett and Graham Poll has urged the FA to sanction Wenger for his behaviour in their weekend game against Burnley.

Wenger pushed the fourth official after he was asked to go to the stands for protesting against the decision made against Coquelin who clearly fouled Barnes in the box.

Ex-referee Hackett wrote in a column for the Daily Telegraph on behalf of You Are The Ref: "For the sake of every official at every level of the game, the FA must throw the book at Arsene Wenger after his disgraceful behaviour on Sunday.
