Turkey 3-0 Holland: Dutch Euro 2016 hopes take a huge blow

Holland's Euro 2016 qualifying campaign was plunged into further disarray on Sunday as they were beaten 3-0 by Turkey and dropped to fourth in Group A.

Oguzhan Ozyakup opened the scoring after eight minutes with his first international goal before Arda Turan doubled the hosts' lead by beating Jasper Cillessen at his near post before half-time. Burak Yilmaz sealed victory five minutes from the end.

Danny Blind's side are now two points behind Turkey, who have moved third and occupy the play-off spot in the group.

The first two teams automatically qualify but with only two games remaining, Holland cannot catch the current occupiers, Iceland and Czech Republic, who have both qualified.
