Eibar 0-2 Atletico Madrid: Fernando Torres and Angel Correa

Diego Simeone's side had made little impact against a determined Eibar defence but the introduction of Correa and Torres in the second half changed the game.

Torres set up Correa for the opener after 62 minutes and then the Argentine youngster was the supplier for Torres who dinked the ball over keeper Asier Riesgo for the second after 78 minutes..

The result sees Atletico move second in the table, perhaps only temporarily, with Barcelona yet to play this weekend.

Atletico have now won three of their opening four games, but should Barcelona beat Levante on Sunday, Simeone's men will be third in the table, lagging a point behind city rivals Real and three behind Barca.
Atletico Madrid host Getafe on Tuesday night in their next La Liga fixture.
