Swansea star Shelvey eyeing more England appearances

Jonjo Shelvey is eager to be given more opportunities for the England national team.

The Swansea City midfielder made just his second appearance for the Three Lions when starting in Saturday's 6-0 win over San Marino in Serravalle, impressing for 90 minutes.
In the wake of just his first England outing since October 2012, Shelvey admitted he was keen to now make more of a habit of dressing in the England kit and gracing the pitch on the international scene.
"It's always nice to pull on the England shirt, and at senior level it's the highest place you can do it," said Shelvey.
"It's just a great honour to start a game and hopefully there will be many more to come."
England next take on Switzerland at Wembley on Tuesday having assured qualification for Euro2016 with the win over San Marino.

Every violation comes with a corresponding fine, ask Benjamin Mendy. Pep plans to repeat his outstanding triumph like he did last season.
