Weekend Heroes: Messi brace seals Barcelona victory

When you are the world's best player, missing 2 to 3 consecutive strikes on target brings frustration. This is what the 29-year old Legend faced on Saturday's game against Osasuna. The MSN was incomplete in the starting line-up without Neymar but it wasn't an excuse for failure.

Messi was Messi with his spectacular stops, controls, dribbles, passes, and through balls. But he wasn't getting any goals.

He still kept the attacking force on fire with the help of midfield force combination of Sergi Roberto, Busquets and Iniesta. Messi worked the first goal with a through pass to Jordi Alba who passed to Suarez who scored. Messi went on to score the second goal of the match as he was perfectly placed when a square pass from Jordi Alba came through.

Messi spectacularly sealed the game in a spectacularly way when he dazzled the defence in the injury time and scored a typical left-footed shot after causing a stir for the Osasuna defence. Barcelona is still in the race to catch table toppers Real Madrid who are 6 points away.
